Shroud

Before you in the card lies a shrouded piece of heavy, rusty metal. You sit with it, at its wake. There are candles burning. Their wax slowly drips, creating pools of solidifying liquidity. This is a card that invites you to sit with the things that feel like a burden. Look at what weighs you down. Feel its heaviness, weigh it in your hands. Shroud is about taking stock. It is also about making space for alchemy and transformation. As the candle wax slowly solidifies, ask yourself what is needed to melt the rusty metal. What does it need to become liquid again and allow for movement? Do you need to add, extract, change the temperature or its position? What about your own position?
